Stumps, you sound like you want this league to be like all the other regular leagues... For all the guys that want 38 trainers, why?... I don't think it will pass, but I'm really hoping for 6 trains. Like I've said many times, I'm looking for a game that's different than the one I already play. If I wanted to play the same old Franchise Basketball, I don't need this league as there are over 30 other ones already out there. If this league goes with 2 or 3 trains, are there any of you that are like me that would want to start a more extreme league with high everything - starting money, salary cap, trains, etc.?

I suggested three trains because it might be nice to develop guys a bit faster, but I don't see six trains being that useful, as potential is pretty much the biggest limiting factor in player development, not the number of available trains.
BUDGET:
d. 60,000,000 Million
- I am presuming this means max for one year, not what you start out with.
FT: you are selecting the amount of money you think each team should start out with in their respective bank account when the league is created. From that number teams will go down or up as their finances grow or are spent.
TRAINS:
d. 4 trains
-this one I don't quite understand. allowable trains per day - or per player for a full year??? it also depends on the difficulty of training
FT: The number you select will be how many times you can train each player each day. Right now leagues are set to 2 trains but you can vote to increase it or lower it.
SALARY:
a. 60 Million
-Let's start low and then raise it in the future - say a mandatory increase in 4 years of 5 million
SERIES LENGTH:
b. 7
I like both, but I prefer 7 - although the few times I have sat out the playoffs - it becomes annoying. How about a loser playoffs for teams to play low level games that don't attract many players, but allow them to try some of their younger guys???
FT: a loser playoff would be great however will prob. never happen due to it requiring Scott to recode the game.
PLAYERS ON DL:
d. 4
EXCEED CAP: this would mean that you can not go over the cap for any reason what so ever except when rookies are placed on your team. If a trade or FA signing will take you over the cap you will not be able to perform the action. This will in turn create some what of a HARD CAP.
a. YES = go over cap ability
- with a penalty!!!
TRADE DEADLINE DATE:
b. 45th day
FA SIGN DEADLINE:
c. 50th day
CLEAR WAIVERS:
d. 3 Days
- no waiver would cause concern over cheating
ROSTER SIZE:
c. 16
COACHES:
e. 38
-it is annoying not being able to get a coach
TRAINERS:
e.38

HJ that is the starting cash when you get your team
and the trains is the maximum trains per player per day like at the moment you can only train any player twice in one day
I didn't finish training any of my basketball players this season. Every one of them still had skills they were either mid or high in. If we were allowed more trains per day, then they'd come closer to achieving their full potential. Also, with more trains then maybe we'll see more players gaining blue balls. In some of the older leagues, there will be a day coming when blue balls are practically non-existant. The higher the rating, the less likely the chance for training success. With 4 to 6 trains maybe some of these guys can become as good as they were meant to be. Then above average potential players will become as valuable as they shouold be. Also, not every day do I have the time to train my players. I know that it doesn't take nearly as long as it used to. But it does take time to keep track of training, which I'm sure 90% of GMs do. I couldn't imaging not using a spreadsheet to keep track of your team's training. Without one you're just training blindly, and wasting money. It's the updating of the spreadsheet where the real time hogger comes in. On busy days around the house I just want to log in, advertise, promote, and turn the computer off. More trains would enable us to make up for lost days.
i dont use a spreadsheet and theres no way im training blindly i know exactly where my players are
